So, with little over 24 hours until we leave and our bags fully packed I thought it was about time to post our packing list – just in case any one is interested in what we are taking for our time away.

In total our backpacks weigh in at 14kg each, we are also taking a small rucksack for the plane and for keeping valuables in when on buses etc.

To be honest it was a bit of a nightmare packing for this trip, allowing for both sunny Brazilian beaches and high altitude trekking. However we have tried to keep weight down as much as possible we will keep you updated on anything we feel was unnecessary, or we were missing.
